Dr. Callahan was raised in Kinderhook and went on to Boston University where he received his bachelor's degree in computer science. After working in the tech industry, where he had the opportunity to live on both the east and west coasts, Dr. Callahan moved back to Boston to pursue a profession in Dentistry. He earned his D.M.D. from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2008 and completed his general practice residency in 2009 at UMass Medical Center where he focused on care for the underserved and emergency care. Dr. Callahan returned to upstate NY and has been practicing general dentistry in the Capital Region since 2009. Dr. Callahan currently resides in Kinderhook where he enjoys cycling and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
